PTA

The main function of the PTA is to raise money. The academy also benefits by receiving help from the PTA at various events throughout the year.

The PTA raises money by organising events such as the Annual school fete. The profits raised from the different events go towards lots of different things for example: year 6 Leavers bibles, Library books, Christmas parties, First Holy Communion trip, Sports Equipment, Televisions, computer software and much more.

The PTA always welcomes new people and new ideas. PTA meetings are held often you will be updated on dates through letters sent home with the children or through our face book page.

Remember, that if you have a child attending St. Michael’s you are already part of the PTA. Volunteers are always needed for the different events throughout the year, whatever time you can spare however small it is it is always greatly appreciated.
